London Calling..

4.11.14

I dont live in London as most of you that read my blog will know (much to my dissapointment *sulks*) I try to get down there as much as possible for events and general leisure as Luke and I love to go there. I like to go as close to xmas as possible but this year it was earlier than usual, I still managed to squeeze in some xmas shopping however and I was shocked to see Selfridges had their xmas window displays up! It's never too early to be in the xmas spirit right?

The following are a mixture of photos (a lot of them) from a couple of combined trips that I thought I would share with you, if you're a Londoner this is probably a collection of pretty standard things to do when in the capital but it's always special for us, especially Breakfast Club & Snog *drrooooooooool*...

As I always say congrats if you made it to the end of my any of my travel posts, they're always rather hefty! I love to see my photography go to use as I never get round to printing them. I hope you enjoyed!

  3. I'm not sure wherabouts you live but trust me, London isn't always the best place to reside! Rents are too high, it's overpopulated and if you smile at someone passing on the street, it's very rare they'll return the compliment... I live about 20 minutes away from the centre of London by train but very rarely visit as the crowds always get me annoyed. Admittedly the sights to be seen and shopping here are great but it can be very tiresome bustling your way through the endless heads of people while coughing on the smog from the queues of traffic. All that said,I love your pics ... Reminds me I need to try and plan a trip in the lead up to Xmas (hopefully with our kids, god help us!) :) xx

  4. I loved living in London :) Although it's busy and the pace of life is fast I never understood why everyone else wasn't loving it like they should! I haven't been down for ages but I've dusted off my Oyster and will be returning on Saturday! I can't wait!

  8. I've never even been to London before. How bad is that?! I really want to go some time though. I never find any cheap train tickets and think I may as well go abroad for how much it costs haha xx

  9. Your photography is so gorgeous! I love London, although I don't think I could handle living there. Living expenses are pretty much on par as here in Melbourne though, so that aspect wouldn't be too much of a change unfortunately!
